Yes, Amazon Show, I spent 1 hour online with Amazon complaining about the Cracking/Popping noise... every 10 or 15 seconds.
I did a reset. Gave them serial numbers etc. Then I asking them to have someone call my cell phone and hear
the annoying noise... I asked if I could send it back and let them listen. It is not even 2 years old. I didn't want
a new one... I just wanted it fixed. They offered me a 15% discount, then 30% then 50%. That is still $115 dollars
that I would have to pay. I spend a ton of money with Amazon but I am really vexed about this problem...
that other people are having also. So, I will still buy from Amazon... but not nearly as much... and
only when I have to.
Like Jason, I did find a work around.
If you pair the Echo Show with a Bluetooth Speaker, the popping sound goes away.
Just place your finger on the top of the screen.
Pull your finger down.
Tap on Settings.
Tap on Bluetooth
And, pair the Echo Show with the Bluetooth Speaker.
My show isn’t clicking like the complaints in this topic but it’s a similar issue I think.
I think the speaker on mine may be failing.
After a minute or so the sound becomes scratchy something like if you’re listening to an actual radio that isn’t tuned in properly.
Doesnt happen everytime but maybe about 80% of my listening time.
I’ve changed what I’m listening to and turned it on and off but no change.
Guess I’ll try unplugging it to see if that doesn’t anything.
Popping during playing makes this device unusable. I’ve tried everything to fix it, even when I moved and got the highest wi-fi speed, it’s still a problem. Highly disappointed 😞
Here is the Fix for your Echo Show issues , as stupid as it sounds if you place a freezer pack under it ,
the popping and cutting out will stop , It takes a min or two. there is a big problem inside the unit but thats my fix
