When I use Echo, Pandora plays well and continues until commanded to stop. Alexa Dot sometimes stops playing Pandora after one song. This happened once on several days and twice today. Afterwards if I ask Dot what is playing it gives me the name of the last song, but will not restart unless the full command "Play Pandora" is used.
In the Alexa App it shows the last track as ended and the mode as Stopped.
If I press Start, I get a message: "Unable to play. Try again later."
If I press Next Track, it says "Unable to go to the next track. Try again later."

Hi Hanshan,
We're sorry your Dot is experiencing that odd playback issue! Let's try the troubleshooting steps found here first. In those steps you'll also find instructions to reset the device, which fixes lots of occasional playback issues. Let us know how this helps!

Same problem, very annoying. Only happens when streaming with Alexa, never with Pandora app. Tech support is totally incapable of anything other than reset your device. Good God, at least update their script.
Same problem with me also. I've tried it on my Echo Plus, a dot, and FireTV Cube - all with the same issue. There has to be a better answer than "reset your device" because that does not work.
Similar problem on my Kindle Fire 7. After a year of using Alexa Skill (Alexa, play Pandora Santana, for example) I receive the message "Pandora is not supported on this device." I had made no changes myself to any apps. I have deleted and reinstalled both the Pandora app, as well as the Alexa app. I am able to play the Pandora app, just not through Alexa. I was wondering why, after a year, the device no longer supports this app. Btw, being an IT technician, I do know most of the common fixes that customers might try.
After using Alexa for a few months, a gift from my son, when asked Alex to start a song or any other information it says its not connected to the Wi-Fi or internet. In both occasions it is. I called my server for the problem I was having and they indicated that both were in working condition. I've unplugged, tried restarting and nothing has happened. Please, does this mean it's unworkable. Can it be returned? I've had it for six months and two in working condition. Please help?
I was having the same problem, my I forgot/deleted the Sonos on Alexa app in iPhone, I reset devices history in amazon account, I disabled the Sonos smart skill. Sign out and back in on Alexa app, make sure the Sonos is completely deleted device and skill and enabled Sonos skill again and discover. It will discover the Sonos speaker again and everything works fine now, including play now on Alexa app that wasn’t working either.
Lost of the problems with Alexa is when it has duplicated devices or commands.
I'm angry at Amazon and this is a first. I bought five echo dots at Christmas and I cannot get music to play in multiple rooms consistently.
With Pandora after a couple of songs it stops. Consistently. I've seen multiple posts on this issue for months. If it can't be fixed I've got four too many.
Amazon, I need your help.

I rebooted the Dot and waited till now to report. It seems to be back to "normal." I've had no repeats of the problem.
thanks for your help.
